Story: Ian had the power to heal through song, through clapping his hands. His tribe had always invested in the healing properties of music, but with Ian this effect was literal. He wasn't always treated as a god. Some thought he was possessed by a demon. Amanda Suthers aka Redwing had been investigating reports of "special" children throughout the world, continuing the program that had brought her from obscurity and isolation into the world of the heroes. Often the rumors end in nothing, but for Ian, it was a rescue. The villagers had decided that if he could heal one person at a time when alive, surely his death and the burning of his body would cure the entire village of malaria and AIDS.

Amanda took Ian back to England, and there they built a suit to amplify his natural harmonic abilities, turning healing vibrations into a potent weapon. He can still heal, but only when he's not wearing the suit. While suited, his amplified abilities can also boost the strengths of those around him.
